Hey Grade 3! When considering that many factors influence the design and building of structures, you began an exploration of shapes to see how they FACTOR into design. You began working with an equilateral triangle as a basic geometrical shape. Then these shapes grew the triangle into a triangular pyramid, or tetrahedron. When you put four tetrahedrons together, a congruent shape was created. You were quite keen to enhance these triangular pyramids with textures and colors. I especially enjoyed watching you learn about the Geodesic Dome and Dymaxium automobile and home. You can revisit this learning here.
