BLOG EXHIBITION DATE 2020
Salutations, Grade 2!
Amazing work, once again. After you were so keen on weaving, we inquired into a few projects we could do to celebrate our One World Day event. We looked through so many ideas on how we could reuse materials and found one that captured our attention from a weaving stand point as well. We used old DVDs as a frame to hold the warp of our weavings. Some of you chose HOT colours and others, COLD colours. Some were downright icy! In the end, all were beautiful in their silence, spinning and reflecting on how we treat our world. Check out your artwork in the Gallery! Well done, Grade 2! :0)Ms Angie

Angie AndreasWith a career spanning 25 years, I have worked alongside children from infancy to 9th grade in a generalist classroom setting. To my delight and surprise, an opportunity arose for me to become an art teacher in 2015. My first year was a learning experience and I expect that will be the case with all the years to follow.
