Dear Grade 5,
You have arrived to your final year in the Primary School. This will be the year you take on Exhibition and continue to follow your passions to develop a greater understanding on our world. For your first Visual Arts project this year, we connected with your homeroom unit of inquiry on Peace and Conflict. As before, we decided to have individual projects using a variety of materials. From sculptures to paintings to carvings, each of you expressed an idea you wanted to communicate about the concept of peace. Your ideas were varied and your methods, vast. Angie AndreasWith a career spanning 25 years, I have worked alongside children from infancy to 9th grade in a generalist classroom setting.
