BLOG EXHIBITION DATE 2017
Wow, Grade 5!
It is nearly Exhibition time and your ideas are flowing. You were challenged to create a final artwork to exemplify who you are and where your interests lie. You did not disappoint! From Da Vinci to O'Keeffe to Dali, your passions took you once again across time and place. For this project, you had to research, reflect and respond. You were required to organize yourself and collect the materials you needed to proceed. You selected your subject matter and set goals for when you thought each step of the process would be completed. Some of you came in during breaks and lunch times to make sure the finished product was successful and completed in a timely manner. It was wonderful to see your passions being carried over into some of your inquires for the Exhibition as well. Sharing your artwork with the community was a highlight of my year. I wish you all, all the best for your next journey into the Secondary School. You will surely impress them with your keen interest in the world around you and your ability to communicate your ideas. Check out the art here! You will be missed! :0)Ms Angie

Angie AndreasWith a career spanning 25 years, I have worked alongside children from infancy to 9th grade in a generalist classroom setting. To my delight and surprise, an opportunity arose for me to become an art teacher in 2015. My first year was a learning experience and I expect that will be the case with all the years to follow.
