Hello Preps! You have impressed me again!! You used your imagination to create paintings of animals with human interests and attributes. You were inspired by your central idea and the artist Beatrix Potter. You were tasked to create an animal and personify it. There were many steps in your process. We brainstormed ideas, created a rough draft in your books, began the final piece in pencil, traced the pencil in ink, then used watercolor to paint the background and foreground of the artwork. When you were finished, you wrote a little biography in your class to connect to you character. This was your final piece as Prep students. Check out your artwork in the Gallery! Angie AndreasWith a career spanning 25 years, I have worked alongside children from infancy to 9th grade in a generalist classroom setting.
