Dear Grade 2,
When considering the idea that our choices and actions can shape the world, you inquired into the relationship between cause and effect from a Visual Arts perspective. How do people shape their world through their actions? After great discussions and interesting thinking, you watched a short film about “Paying it forward”. It was this film that inspired you to create posters based on ways you could illustrate the idea that when you act in positive ways, your actions influence others. To make things interesting, you all came up with a few slogans to use on your posters. Be the Change Pay it Forward Pass it on... Domino Effect During this process, you learned about layout, font, color, illustrations, and how to influence others through images. Check out the posters and the ideas you expressed through them…you might find yourself sharing an extra smile with a passerby. You never know what effect you may cause… :0)Ms Angie
