BLOG EXHIBITION DATE 2019
Hiya Grade 3!
You happily continued your learning about messages as we transitioned into a new homeroom unit of inquiry about food security around the world. It is not easy to learn about people having limited access to food or who develop illnesses do to poor food storage or lack of hygienic practises that reduce the chances of disease. What you did to help you process this was to create informational posters designed to both inform and influence people around the globe. The posters you made were in different languages and had varying messages from how to wash your hands to where you should store your food. We shared these posters with experts in the fields of nutrition and potentially saved lives through educating our wider community. Check out the art here! Keep learning and acting, Grade 3!! :0)Ms Angie

Angie AndreasWith a career spanning 25 years, I have worked alongside children from infancy to 9th grade in a generalist classroom setting. To my delight and surprise, an opportunity arose for me to become an art teacher in 2015. My first year was a learning experience and I expect that will be the case with all the years to follow.
