Hiya, Grade 3!
What a treat we had in creating a collaborative mosaic mural with our sister school students. Ms Chantal Leblanc visited us all the way from Canada and taught us how to create this beautiful artwork. You were even in the NEWS!!! https://www.facebook.com/159023380915975/videos/855080797976893/ This was a great jumping-off point for your inquiry into artifacts. Mosaics, throughout time, show what is important to the artist and often times the greater community. With the design inspired by our Lao students and our Grade 4 students, we worked diligently to bring the mosaic to life. We marked a time in history and demonstrated how important our connection to our Host country of Laos is to students and teachers alike! Check out the art in the Gallery!
