Hello, Preps!
For your final unit of inquiry, we looked into how information is expressed visually to communicate an idea. You used broken pieces of tiles and sticks to create color, shape or patterned codes which resulted in other people being able to play a song or do a dance without you uttering a word to them. You encoded meaning into color and shape. For some of you a pink tile with three sides meant to jump three times. Others encoded drum beats for blue tiles and guitar strums for red tiles. Each project was uniquely your own. Check out the artwork here! Always a treat to watch your work...see you next year! :0)Ms Angie

Angie AndreasWith a career spanning 25 years, I have worked alongside children from infancy to 9th grade in a generalist classroom setting. To my delight and surprise, an opportunity arose for me to become an art teacher in 2015. My first year was a learning experience and I expect that will be the case with all the years to follow.
