Dear Grade 1, We recently inquired into Antoni Gaudi as an architect and artist. You learned how he dedicated himself to creating for his community. He believed shared spaces could be enjoyed by everyone. His artwork continues to stand the test of time and to give joy to others. During you Visual Arts lessons, you have learned about how to use spaces between paper tiles. You have also discovered how colors and shapes help to define images. It was challenging and rewarding to design and create paper mosaics. You can find yours in the Gallery. Now we are moving on to create a large tile mosaic mural for our community to enjoy. Angie AndreasWith a career spanning 25 years, I have worked alongside children from infancy to 9th grade in a generalist classroom setting.
